Wegmans Named One of PEOPLES 50 Companies That Care by Great Place to Work and PEOPLE

ROCHESTER, NY, Jul 25, 2018 – Great Place to Work and PEOPLE have recognized Wegmans as one of PEOPLEs 50 Companies That Care.  Wegmans took the #11 spot.

Colleen Wegman, president & CEO of the family-owned supermarket chain, pointed to the important role employees play in achieving this recognition: When we care about each other, help our customers and give back to the communities where we operate, everything else seems to fall into place.

Rankings represent feedback from over 4.5 million US employees. PEOPLE partnered with Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, to analyze employees survey feedback on how their workplaces make a difference in their lives and communities, and to consider the generosity of each organization's benefits, philanthropic and community support.
