A majestic introduction to the famous wines of Château Ducru Beaucaillou.
Château Lalande Borie is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Flavors of dark berries with chocolate and lightly toasted oak aromas open to a full body with silky tannins and a fine, focused finish.
Lalande Borie is the third label of the famous Ducru Beaucaillou, the famed second-growth château in Bordeaux’s St.-Julien appellation. It’s a majestic introduction to the estate, and it shares the same winemaking approach as the elder wines from its complexity and structure, by way of its balance and elegance. Barrel aging lasts for 12 months with one-third new oak, and every procedure in the vineyard is respectful of the entire ecosystem.
A complex, balanced Bordeaux you’ll love
Lalande Borie scored 93 points from Wine Spectator, and like most Bordeaux reds, it will pair beautifully with beef, veal, pork, lamb, and soft cheeses like Wegmans Medium Entertaining Brie.
