CHANTILLY, VA, Jan 09, 2018 – Wegmans Food Markets is now hiring and training for 320 part-time positions and select remaining full-time jobs at its new location in Chantilly, which is set to open Sunday, June 3 at 7 a.m. The store is located at The Field at Commonwealth near the intersection of Route 28 and Westfields Boulevard.
Part-time openings are available in every department, including line cooks, customer service representatives, and overnight positions. Hiring and training for full-time positions began in September and is ongoing with recruitment for full-time cooks. In total, the store will employ 500 people, most of whom will be new to the company and hired locally.
Wegmans will host a hiring event at its Chantilly recruitment office Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. After completing an application, candidates will be interviewed on the spot that day. Job seekers are encouraged to first apply online at wegmans.com/careers. There will also be the opportunity to submit an application at the event.
