Wegmans Opens Carlyle-Alexandria Store on Wednesday, May 11

Alexandria, Va., May 9, 2022 – Store Manager Mike Anthony and his team of 450 employees are putting the final touches on Wegmans’ new Carlyle-Alexandria location. The 81,300 sq. ft. store, located at 150 Stovall St. in Carlyle Crossings, makes its debut at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11.

The Carlyle location offers an abundant selection, with more than 4,000 organic options throughout the store. Restaurant foods prepared by Executive Chef Juan Flores and his culinary staff of 105 include everything from fresh sushi, pizza, and wings to made-to-order salads and hot soup. The Burger Bar offers delicious burgers, sandwiches, and fries, or customers can enjoy Asian-inspired cuisine featuring Chinese, Thai, and Indian recipes available pre-packaged or from a self-serve bar. The Market Café seating area has space for nearly 250 and includes a bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and hand-rolled sushi.

The seafood department features fish delivered daily from ports on the east coast, across the country, and around the world. The store also features a produce section with hundreds of different fruits and vegetables, including many organic choices, and a cheese shop that has specialty and artisan cheeses produced domestically or imported from around the world.

Customers can visit https://www.wegmans.com/carlyle to sign up for Wegmans Shoppers Club and download the Wegmans app, which offers recipes, digital coupons, and the ability to create shopping lists sorted by aisle. Customers can complete all their grocery shopping online for curbside pickup or delivery to their door in as little as one hour.
