Deep Cleaning
To ensure a safe environment for all our employees and customers, we’re committed to going above and beyond what is required. We have enhanced our sanitation of high-contact touchpoints and increased the frequency of our everyday sanitation practices. Hand-sanitizer stations are available throughout the store and our cashiers are asked to sanitize their workspace and hands in between each customer. Plexiglas® shields are also installed at all of our registers and will be installed in additional areas, as well.

Social Distancing
We encourage all customers and employees to be respectful of social distancing guidelines. To help, we’ve placed visual indicators at our registers and throughout the store. In addition, 12 self-checkout registers and our Wegmans SCAN App are available to help you minimize your contact in store.
We offer options that fit your lifestyle because we care, and we want shopping to be easy and enjoyable for you.
Since 1916, we’ve been dedicated to fulfilling our mission:

We realize knowing where your food comes from is important to you. That’s why we work with trusted partners who share our commitment to quality.
Our farm develops and shares best practices with our partner-growers to bring you the best-tasting organic fruits & veggies, closer to home.
This fifth-generation family farm in Smithburg, MD supplies us with fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, including delicious winter squash.
Third-generation farmer Clay Jackson brings us naturally delicious, tender beef from his family’s cattle farm in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills in Madison, VA.
Kenneth “Bubba” Frisby grows tender clams and oysters on the Ballard family’s fifth-generation aquafarm in Cheriton, VA.
Our great-tasting rustic breads start out in the field, where we grow and test the heritage and ancient grains that will be used by our artisan bakers.
Our high standards apply to everything we do, which is why we’re committed to creating Wegmans Brand products that are Food You Feel Good About—great taste with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. We also offer more than 4,000 organic items throughout the store.
We know your time is valuable, and you shouldn’t have to run around town to find the best prices. That’s why we offer consistent low prices on the products families use most. We also check prices at other retailers every week, so you can be confident you’re getting the best value at Wegmans.
At Wegmans, we strive to make a difference in every community we serve, even before we open our doors in a new market. One of our highest giving priorities is providing food for people at risk of hunger.
Last year, we donated 18.6 million pounds of food to local food banks, food pantries, and soup kitchens throughout our communities. In March, we donated over $51,000 to Food for Others in order to provide food directly to people in need. We are committed to being a good neighbor to the Tysons community, and we will continue to work with local organizations like Food for Others to improve the lives of our customers and employees in every way we can.
We’ve long believed that we can only achieve our goals if we fulfill the needs of our people. In this spirit, we created the Wegmans Scholarship Program to assist our people in pursuit of higher education. Since 1984, we have awarded over $125 million dollars to more than 40,000 employees through this program. Additionally, each year we partner with local high schools surrounding our new stores to select several graduating seniors to receive honorary scholarships.
