Mike Hope’s 14,500-acre farm in Clinton, NC supplies us with the highest quality beef from his Red and Black Angus-based herd.
Fresh Catch Seafood is owned by husband-and-wife team Matt Huth and Micah Daniels. Their fishermen take short trips to ensure their shrimp and other seafood is in stores within 24 hours. We love partnering with them to bring you fresh, locally sourced seafood.
A third-generation family farm located in Rocky Point, NC, Lewis brings us delicious seasonal berries, including their tunnel-grown winter strawberries.
This farmer-owned company based in Durham, NC, supports organic growers across the east coast, supplying us with organic kale, collard greens, squash, and other sustainable veggies year-round.

Wegmans Employees Volunteering
At Wegmans, we strive to make a difference in every community we serve, even before we open our doors in a new market. One of our highest giving priorities is providing food for people at risk of hunger.
Last year, we donated 19.6 million pounds of food to local food banks, food pantries, and soup kitchens throughout our communities. In preparation for the opening of our new store, we’ve donated $17,750 to local Wake Forest organizations to help those in need. We are committed to being a good neighbor to the Wake Forest community, and we will continue to work with local organizations to improve the lives of our customers and employees in every way we can.
We’ve long believed that we can only achieve our goals if we fulfill the needs of our people. In this spirit, we created the Wegmans Scholarship Program to assist our people in pursuit of higher education. Since 1984, we have awarded over $125 million dollars to more than 40,000 employees through this program. Additionally, each year we partner with local high schools surrounding our new stores to select several graduating seniors to receive honorary scholarships.
